Kindergarten also uses the Creative Curriculum along with the Reggio-inspired approach. However, the studies in Kindergarten are completed through in-depth investigations of Science and Social Studies topics. Once more, these studies engage our students in deep levels of critical thinking, technical vocabulary, and open-ended creativity. 

 

In addition to the Creative Curriculum, the Kindergarten schedule allows for a Literacy and Math block of instructional time that teaches standards aligned with Kindergarten readiness. 

 

Lastly, Kindergarten enrichments include Spanish, Tumble, Music, and Chapel service. They also care for their Kindergarden plots in collaboration with the Beauregard Community Garden nearby on the FUMC campus.
